In moments of uptime when you’re fully engaged and captivated it’s fairly easy to pinpoint where your attention is - it’s on the job at hand.
You’re in the flow, time flies and you loose yourself in the doing of it. In moments like this you aren’t necessary mindful of being a person who is paying attention to their work: instead, you, your attention and the task at hand merge into one whole experience.
I’m moments of downtime where you aren’t particularly captivated by a task, attention can wonder around freely. Thinking this, and thinking that.
It can be interesting to pause often and ask the question: ‘What am I thinking about/focused on?’ - just bringing awareness to the comings and going’s of mind can be illuminating.

Without judgment. Without needing it to be different. Just... curious!
